Seeking Suggestions....

Farmers market impulse purchase of the day (aside from MORE plants I didn't need): green garlic. Taking suggestions on what to do with it now beyond just using it like regular garlic. I had an article from last year about what to do with the earlier spring phases of garlic, something about green garlic soup...now if only I could find it. Help!

  1. I know nothing of green garlic, but it sounds great, more subtle? what about in scrambled eggs, or some kind of garnish for protein?

  2. yes more subtle. garlic scapes, green garlic, white garlic, in that order. the flavor concentrates as it gets older. -liza
